Synchronization

Global Bay’s Synchronization Server offers two-way syncing, re-transmission support, and Blowfish 128-bit encryption to ensure that data is transmitted securely without information loss between the AccessPoint Syncrhonization Server and the AccessPoint Mobile Client.

The synchronization server uses JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) technology and a standard SQL database access interface, enabling it to be compatible with third party applications and existing infrastructure. The synchronization server also includes alternative database support for further backend integration and support for XML feeds and other data outputs for advanced reporting and application integration.

With the ability to operate on both distributed and non-distributed sync models, the Synchronization Server is highly scalable and supports additional servers with numerous simultaneous users. The Synchronization Server is managed through a management console application which offers full management and configuration of the server.
