Application Builder

AccessPoint provides a user-friendly, Application Builder that allows authorized users (IT or business users) the ability to design, develop, edit and deploy mobile application. A key benefit of this is the ability to self-maintain the system and deploy new applications and updated more rapidly without reliance on outside programmers.

The builder’s WYSWYG interface and menu driven structure support the development and updating of applications that utilize sophisticated scripting and logic, by the business unit or internal IT resources.

Utilizing the builder, questions and data inputs are created (all from drop down GUI interfaces). Specific properties and validation can be set (for instance mask a post code field), incorrect data entry error message can be defined, font size and color, insertion of graphics, alignment of screen objects etc. The screen designer is a drag and drop interface.

The Application Builder has a script wizard for implementing sophisticated logic (e.g. scoring logic, field verification etc.) allowing for significant functionality and flexibility to be generated automatically. The script wizard is a GUI based functionality that allows any non technical user to create complex logic, manipulate control properties (i.e. font, color, size, etc.), set validations, filtered lists, jumps, data save points, populate controls with value, etc without ever having to write a single line of code.

For the more technical user scripting can also be implemented directly.

Together these features allow the user to develop and deploy much more than a simple application; instead, users create comprehensive data collection applications.
