Global Bay is looking seasoned sales professionals selling software to the retail industry.

REQUIREMENTS
- Prospecting and selling Global Bay Mobile software solutions to new and existing accounts, using direct sales tactics as well as partnering strategies with well positioned partners.
- The SM will execute sales plans to achieve quarterly sales/business objectives and provide accurate and timely reports/forecasts.
- The SM will be responsible for building a sales pipeline of qualified opportunities through cultivating business relationships with strategic, prospective contacts and within potential prospects as well as existing accounts.
- This is a direct, outside sales position that will require regional travel to meet with prospective customers.
- The SM will be responsible for maintaining contact with strategic prospects, understanding the key employees and decision makers within the prospect, the status of their business, and their strategic initiatives, especially related to technology investment.
- The SM will understand the current business environment of their prospects, and identify business needs potential Global Bay products to promote and close.
- The SM will work with the internal Global Bay team to help with timely creation of estimates and quotes
- Participate within the sales team by sharing client information with Customer Relationship Managers and other members of the sales team.
- Participate in trade shows and other marketing events.
- Track all sales activity through the GB lead tracking and sales management system, currently salesforce.com.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must provide proactive leadership and direction of personnel performing complex tasks. Plans, implements and maintains project organization structure.
- 5-10 years government and commercial enterprise software sales experience is a requirement.
- Excellent cold calling skills, and experience in building relationships with key influencers and decision makers in a defined government sales territory of qualified lead prospects
- Experienced in closing large software deals, preferably in the $100,000 and above
