Peter J. Powers is founder of Powers Global Strategies, LLC, a government relations and strategic consulting firm based in New York and Washington, D.C. Mr. Powers is the former First Deputy Mayor under Mayor Rudolph Giuliani for whom he also served as Campaign Manager and Transition Chair. Prior to that, Mr. Powers had a 25-year career as an attorney, certified public accountant and consultant, advising both publicly and privately held corporations on strategy and communications. Mr. Powers is a frequent speaker on government relations matters. Most recently, he was invited to speak at the Investment & Legal Protection International Seminar and delivered a keynote address at the China-U.S. Business Forum, both in Beijing.
